But some important basics:

BikenetiCX — Sunday, December 14, 2014 — is the final race in the 2014 Sportif ‘Cross Cup Series & the last MABRA CX race/party of the year!

Online registration — https://www.bikereg.com/bikeneticx — opens Sunday, Nov. 16 at 8:00 pm & closes Thursday, December 11, at 11:45 pm.

The Beer Garden—conveniently located right in the middle of the course—will have a cash bar serving awesome local Virginia brews–brewery to be announced….  Please Note: Beer Garden guest access is only open to racers registering online AND to spectator guests registered online by those racers.  Sorry, but Virginia ABC rules don’t allow us to grant access to day-of registrants—so make sure to register online!  DC food trucks will be on hand for great post-race fare.

Team tent parking is available–room for one team tent and two cars–only $15. Team tent spots are ringside!–right along the barriers before the finish line, with a great view of the course.

The course is a fast 3.4 km. It includes banked turns, dirt double-track, a muddy bog (weather cooperating), a rooty runup, barriers/logs, a sand pit, off-camber grass, & drag strip finish. (Details may change as needed.) Special thanks to the kind gentlemen of Crosshairs Cycling for course fine-tuning and to Bill Schieken for announcing!

The race is presented by Bikenetic Full Service Bike Shop, who promises great prizes in ALL fields & by Team Bikenetic, who promise more cowbell than your average cross race.
